SUNFLOWERS Researchers Present Their Work at the ABAA-16 Conference in Padova 🇮🇹

The SUNFLOWERS project was proudly represented at the International Conference on Advanced Lithium Batteries for Automotive Applications (ABAA) in Padova, Italy.

This week, members of the SUNFLOWERS consortium participated in one of the world’s leading conferences dedicated to advanced battery technologies, bringing together researchers, industry representatives, policymakers, and innovation leaders from across Europe, Asia, and North America. The ABAA conference serves as an important platform for presenting the latest developments in lithium battery research, fostering international collaboration, and discussing future directions for sustainable energy storage solutions.

During the conference, our colleagues presented research results generated within the SUNFLOWERS project, highlighting ongoing activities focused on next-generation battery materials and energy storage systems. Their participation provided an excellent opportunity to share scientific achievements, exchange knowledge with leading experts in the field, and establish new collaborations that can further strengthen the project’s impact.

Beyond the scientific sessions, the event enabled valuable networking with researchers from academia, national laboratories, and industry, supporting the SUNFLOWERS mission of advancing innovative battery technologies through international cooperation. The conference attracted hundreds of participants and showcased the latest breakthroughs in battery materials, cell technologies, and automotive energy storage applications.
