🌻 SUNFLOWERS Project Presented During the 10th Anniversary of the Novel Trends in Chemistry Conference

The 10th anniversary edition of the international conference Novel Trends in Chemistry, Research and Education 2025, organized by the Institute of Chemistry at the Faculty of Science, Pavol Jozef Šafárik University in Košice, created a unique space for scientific discussion, networking, and the presentation of innovative research projects. The conference brought together researchers, educators, and students from various fields of chemistry and related sciences.

🔬 Active Participation of Students and Researchers

The discussion created an inspiring environment where not only experienced researchers and academic staff, but also chemistry students, could actively participate. Students had the opportunity to ask questions, share their perspectives, and engage directly with experts from different areas of chemistry. This interaction highlighted the importance of supporting young scientists and encouraging dialogue between education and research practice — one of the key values promoted by the conference itself.

🎤 Panel Discussion Connecting Research and Education

One of the highlights of the conference programme was the panel discussion focused on current scientific opportunities, interdisciplinary collaboration, and the future of chemical research. Within this discussion, Assoc. Prof. Andrea Straková Fedorková had the opportunity to present the SUNFLOWERS project and introduce its main objectives, scientific vision, and broader societal impact.

The presentation emphasized the importance of connecting modern chemical research with innovation, sustainability, and international cooperation.

🙏 Acknowledgement

We would like to sincerely thank the organizers of the Novel Trends in Chemistry 2025 conference for creating such an inspiring scientific platform and for the opportunity to present the SUNFLOWERS project to the wider academic community.

Events like these play an important role in fostering collaboration, supporting young researchers, and strengthening the connection between science, education, and innovation. 🌻✨
