🌻1st SUNFLOWERS Project Consortium Meeting Agenda
International Partners Gathered in Štrbské Pleso to Advance Collaboration on Next-Generation Battery Technologies
Set in the beautiful surroundings of the High Tatras, the SUNFLOWERS consortium successfully held its 1st Project Meeting from 9–12 November 2025 at Hotel Patria in Štrbské Pleso, Slovakia. The meeting brought together project partners, researchers, and innovation stakeholders to review ongoing activities, coordinate future tasks, and strengthen international cooperation within the project consortium.
Throughout the programme, consortium members presented progress and plans across individual work packages focused on:
- advanced cathode and anode materials,
- electrolytes and membranes,
- self-healing binders,
- battery prototype development,
- sustainability and recycling,
- communication activities,
- and overall project management.
The meeting created an important platform for interdisciplinary discussions and knowledge exchange among experts in chemistry, physics, materials engineering, electrochemistry, sustainability, and battery manufacturing.
During the sessions, project partners discussed:
- key milestones and deliverables,
- research methodologies and collaboration strategies,
- sustainability and circular economy approaches,
- dissemination and outreach activities,
- and future cooperation opportunities within the European battery research ecosystem.
