From October 8th to 10th, 2025, members of the SUNFLOWERS research team participated in the international conference Technika Ochrany Prostredia 2025 (TOP 25) held in Rajecké Teplice, Slovakia.

The conference focused on key topics such as environmental protection, sustainable industrial production, waste valorization and recycling, circular economy, and carbon footprint reduction. 🌱

During the event, our research team had the opportunity to present the objectives and activities of the SUNFLOWERS project, as well as the latest research results in the field of redox flow batteries 🔋 — specifically focused on the characterization of organic molecules as promising alternatives to vanadium-based electrolytes.

We are proud to share that our team received third place for a progressive idea 🏅 during the conference awards ceremony.
